Angkor Essential


Day 1

Meet and pick up by our professional tour guide upon arrival at Siem Reap International airport. Transfer to hotel for check-in. At the evening, enjoy buffet dinner accompanied with the traditional Apsara dance show at Por Cuisine restaurant .Overnight at the hotel.


Day 2

After breakfast at the hotel, start exploring Angkor Complex. Begin with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the famous Bayon Temple – built by Jayavarman VII at the end of the 12th century, in the exact center of the city of Angkor Thom, Bapoun and Terrace Elephants & Terrace of Leper King. Continue to visit Ta Prohm – a Buddhist temple during 12th century overgrown with jungle and admired by romantics for their dreamlike qualities. After lunch visit Angkor Wat Temple, one of the greatest architectural world wonders, built in between the 9th and 13th century, their general views are five ancient towers figure that embroidered or printed to the Kingdom of Cambodia’s Flag. Late afternoon climb up Phnom Bakheng Temple hill and enjoy watching sunset and beautiful view of Angkor area .After dinner transfer to the hotel for relax.


Day 3

After breakfast, proceed to Kompong Phluk, a floating village mounted above the banks of the Tonle-Sap-Great Lake and is home to different families eking out their living .When you visit you’ll get the best insight into the fascinating lifestyle of the people whose livelihood entirely depends upon the flow and ebb of the Tonle Sap Lake .When you arrive at this floating village, you can visit the restaurants, shops and schools, all of which are moored above the Tonle Sap lake. You can also visit the pagoda and meet the local monks, then board a small oar-boat for a tour to the inundated forest .The entirely flooded-forest around Kompong Phluk is just fascinating. You’ll be amazed by the sights of fishermen and their families fishing using all types of home made floatation devices from plastic bucket to polystyrene squid rafts between the sunken trees .Afternoon visit Artisans D’ Angkor and workshop, wherein you will discover the traditional Khmer techniques used for stone and wood carving and shopping at old market. Then continue to viisit the Killing Field to view the Khmer Rouge remnants. Continue to Angjek Angjom, the famous Buddhist temple in Siem Reap and drive thru the Royal Palace .Overnight in Siem Reap.


Day 4

Depart to Siem Reap International airport.
